Limitation
|
|
A permit, under which no work is commenced
within one year after issuance, shall expire by limitation. If
construction has begun, but has not been completed within the
year following issuance, a renewal fee of $15.00 will be
required to extend the permit for an additional year. |
Certificate of Occupancy
|
|
No building requiring a building permit shall be occupied before
a certificate of occupancy has been issued. |

building, may be located in a side or rear yard, but must be
located at least two feet from the side or rear lot line. |
Fees

Residential |
- 13 cents per square foot of gross living area. (Use
outside dimensions.)
- 8 cents per square foot of ground area for auxiliary
buildings, attached and detached garages, sheds, pole
buildings, etc.
- 13 cents per square foot of ground area for mobile homes
- 8 cents per square foot of ground area for porches,
decks, patios.
- 8 cents per square foot of ground area for pools.

Commercial/Industrial |
- 10 cents per square foot of ground area for new
commercial/industrial buildings.
- $30.00 minimum for additions and accessory buildings to
commercial/industrial property, then 10 cents per square
foot above the minimum.
- $1.50 per $1,000 of cost for any construction governed
by height. Cellular phone towers, communication towers etc.

Public Hearings |
- $150.00 - Appeals, special home occupation permits,
setback variances, conditional use hearings.
- $200.00 - Rezoning hearings.
- $45.00 - Flood plain permits.
- $15.00 - Permit renewals.
